Dynamic entrepreneur Esha Rushdi is expanding her influential voice into the world of podcasting with her latest venture, The Other Side. Best known as the founder of Powder Room Beauty Salon, a thriving hub for beauty and self-care, Esha is now exploring her passion for connection and storytelling through this new medium.

Guests in the show so far includes doctors like Dr. Kushal (Founder & Lead Psychiatrist of LifeSpring), Dr. Rubaiya Ali (Dermatologist) as well as celebrities like Dighi and Kaarina Kaisar. Esha attributes the podcast’s growing popularity to its inclusive approach.
While The Other Side is open to diverse topics and voices, Esha is particularly passionate about highlighting women’s stories. She believes women’s voices are underrepresented in Bangladesh’s largely male-dominated podcasting scene and sees her platform as a way to shift the narrative.
“I want to focus on women in every sector first,” she says. “There are so many untold stories of women doing incredible things, and they deserve to be heard and celebrated.”
The podcast’s upcoming episodes promise to delve into themes such as mental health, parenting, and women’s health. Guests will include lawyers, celebrities, and experts from various fields, sharing their knowledge and life journeys. By creating a space for such diverse voices, Esha hopes to foster awareness and inspire her listeners.
